Background[edit]

Crimefront was established by Mike Boulden around 2008, mostly acting as the Producer and Engineer, with Steffan van Soest and Simon Nunn being Associates and Studio Musicians on respective projects.

The studio's initial sound was shaped by the Ramsa WR-S4424 mixing desk paired with a duplex ANTEX LX-44 interface. In 2013, the ANTEX was begrudgingly replaced, due to no drivers beyond Windows XP, by a Steinberg UR-842.

The studio's name changes based on its location, adapting as new locations are required and previous ones are disbanded.
